I would recommend the Alamo kiosk service. I avoided the usual long queues at the rental desk by using this.

Didn't have any intermediate cars to pick and was given a Captiva and ' leaned -on ' to give Alamo man a 'tip' but didn't have any dollars handy , very embarassing time !

Will never use Sanford again - do not like this airport. The car drank fuel 15.5 miles to the gallon, but it ran well and was comfortable.
