Alamo Rent A Car

Alamo started life in 1974 with several locations in Florida. It has grown to become the largest supplier of rental cars to international travelers visiting the USA. It developed the car hire industry's first online check-in system in 2005 and had more than 170 self-service kiosks (which our customers can use) at more than 60 US locations to speed up the pick up of a rental car. This saves you lots of time as you don't have to wait in line to see an Alamo agent. Alamo is today owned by Enterprise Holdings, who are also the owners of National Rent A Car. They have revenues of over $14 billion per year, 70,000 employees and over 1.2 million vehicles in their fleet.

On the Silver Inclusive option you get one or more drivers (email us for more details) and you collect the car full and return it full. The Gold option includes a tank of gas in the price.

Combined with the use of computerised Kiosks to speed up the car collection process (only available if booked with us) and Alamo Choice, which allows you to pick your own car from a line of cars in the class you have booked in the garage, plus really great rates, booking Alamo with us makes a very compelling car rental option.

National Rent A Car

National Rent A Car was founded by 24 independent car rental agents in 1947 and had grown massively since, now having locations at most US airports and in most US cities. It was purchased by Enterprise Holdings in 2007, who are also the owners of Alamo Rent A Car.

On Silver you collect the car full and return it full. On Gold, a tank of gas is included in the price.

Dollar Rent A Car

Dollar is part of the Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group. Thrifty Car Rental was founded in 1958 and Dollar Rent A Car in 1965 in Los Angeles, CA. Dollar Rent A Car as we today know it is an amalgamation of Thrifty Car Rental and Dollar Rent A Car, formed in 1990 by the Chrysler Group and then spun off in 1997. Prior to 1997 the company mainly focused on the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep fleets but this has since expanded into a far more diverse fleet.

Dollar Express members are able to use a dedicated queue on arrival which can significantly speed up your car collection. When you sign up for Dollar Express, your license, credit card and personal details are all taken meaning the processing of your voucher on arrival is a lot faster. On Silver you pay for a tank of gas on arrival and return the car empty. On Gold, a tank of gas is included in the price.
