On arrival at LAX, I was given an SUV. As an added bonus, I was given a car with Arizona plates meaning that as I was leaving the car in Phoenix, I didn't have a one way rental charge. Every time I have used US Car Hire, they have always followed through on any requests, which always seem to happen as I like to have hand controls.

The previous customers paper work was still in the glove box and it looked as though it had been used on a building site or similar. It did look as though it had been cleaned on the outside but not very thoroughly and it didn't smell too good inside. We would have chosen another car but all the others were Jeeps and we prefer a Ford. It did drive well so we had no complaints about it's performance.

Had a small problem with the Toyota but Thrifty were very apologetic and offered an upgrade to the SUV. Very happy with the way they dealt with the problem.

Book a car at this location Our experience went very smoothly from car pick up in Tampa to delivery back to Orlando Airport. Car was very economical with fuel and we would have no hesitation in using your services in the future.

Book a car at this location 8 seater wasn't ideal for 8 adults. The 8th seat being little more than a child's seat made it a little uncomfortable on longer journeys. Overall pleased with the service and the quality and cleanliness of the vehicle.

It would be better if we were able to pay the bridge toll by cash instead of through National who charged us an extra fee on top of the toll fee.
