The booking experience was easy and painless and the cheapest we found anywhere. We pre-registered through US Car Hire and used the self-service kiosk at Las Vegas airport so didn't get pressured to take any additional covers we didn't need - its easy and recommended. The only disappointing factor was with Alamo, we didn't get to choose our own car as anticipated as an abrupt Alamo employee in the car park checked our paperwork and directed us to a specific car which she said we had to take. It was black so not ideal for reflecting the desert sun (I would have chosen white as most other cars there were white), and stank of stale smoke despite being fairly new with only 8000 miles, also had previous renter's rubbish in pockets and glovebox. I'd use US Car Hire again without hesitation but would choose another supplier over Alamo in future.

The whole experience from beginning to end was flawless. Excellent customer service from UScarhire and Alamo. Would definitely use both companies again without a doubt and will be recommended to all. No Full Size SUV's when we arrived at garage, so we were automatically taken to the Premium SUV's and given a choice. Very pleased with vehicle.

Alamo agent advised us that roadside assistance was not included in our booking and that we would have to pay a further amount if we wished to buy roadside assistance cover .

Quick counter service good. Car not available in garage , had to wait 15 minutes, bad Car had sat nav, good. Car only had key, no remote control, we could not lock tailgate, had to go back to Alamo who advised how this could be done. Wished they talk us when we collected car.

The car was in tip top condition and had more than enough room for 4 people,5 cases a rucksack and 4 large carry on's...... even so every step of collecting the car was loaded with upgrade-itis, "if I hear one more "I don't think it's big enough sir" or for a small fee you can have a supertanker sized truck" i think I'll just detonate..... I will never use Alamo again.

Hi, rented with US Car Hire a couple of times in the past, been good and the rentals been fine, this time was ok, car was not what was booked, and for some reason on collection they wanted to know where I worked as the car was new and high in value, strange, not been asked that before! Interior could have been cleaned better.

Thought we would use the check-booth for Alamo Total waste of time,filled the details in the UK licence details etc.... Got to the booth and had to submit forms again taken ages Would have been a lot quicker going to the desk.
