Excellent value and whole process very straight forward from start to finish. Unfortunately we were involved in a fender bender (not our fault) and the insurance and car cover meant we exchanged the car within an hour with no hassle or fuss. No excess charged to credit cards we just drove away with a new SUV after 10 minutes explanation of situation. Would certainly recommend at least Silver Inclusive insurance option. All in all can't fault the service.

Not happy at all. The hire car that I paid for was a full sized SUV (FFAR) or similar. When we arrived at the hire pick-up point we where told that the hire car would not accommodate 4 people and 4 cases. I did not argue at that time as I was tired and needed to get on with the rest of our journey. Arriving back from holiday and checked my hire details found out that we were charged a second hire for exactly the same hire car we initially paid for (Chevrolet Tahoe 7 Seater 4 suit cases). We were given a Chevrolet Surburban 7 Seater 4 suit cases) We prepaid our hire and then were charged another hire of $593.81. I would like someone to explain why we were charged twice for the same vehicle and would like a refund. We also paid for a GPS that did not work. US car hire good as usual but Alamo at Orlando appalling. As usual long slow queue but much worse due to the Alamo guy trying to upswell everything they had to every single customer. His attitude was terrible when we refused to take him up on anything. The worst thing was that we were initially offered a very tired and carpet stained Tahoe which we rejected. Despite being initially told this was all they had they eventually found an equally tired and dirty interior suburban. Again this was rejected and a forceful discussion followed. Guess what, they found a Tahoe in as new condition which we accepted. We are seasoned travellers to Florida and have realistic expectations when picking up hire cars. However Alamo have found a new low in customer service on this occasion

So easy, exactly as advertised and the staff at the airport in the USA could not have been more helpful. Very simple process with zero complications - exactly what is required after a transatlantic flight.

Yet again, a very easy process to book a hire car. This was the 5th booking with US Car Hire and using Alamo, can't fault either of them. I booked a Chevy Tahoe ( full size 7 seater SUV) and the girl at the Alamo desk upgraded me to a brand new Chevy Suburban with all the bells and whistles for no extra. Fantastic service.

The staff on reception were very helpful and friendly. The only suggestion i would make for improvement is that when i collected the vehicle, it would have been helpful if someone could have taken a moment to explain controls as it was my first time driving an American car and I was not familiar with the gear shift and foot brake. A moment to explain this would have made me feel much more comfortable rather than having to figure it out for myself.
