Just one thing: as a visiting UK resident one cannot use the self-service booths that one signs up for over the internet. This is not clarified at the time of booking and is a real frustration on arrival at the kiosk. My recommendation is that this service is not offered to non-USA/Canadian at the time of booking if it's not something one can use on arrival.

Only gripe was the Alamo chap on the desk who said he was upgrading me, seemingly as a nice gesture, only to later say it would cost me a further $300 (then down to $200). This would have been an extra 44% just to have some extra luggage space !

7 Seater Fullsize SUV (FFAR) Sanford International Airport on 16 Aug 2013 Customer rating: Customer name: Name withheld by request Vehicle supplied: Chevrolet Tahoe Book a car at this location No problems with the booking process, no queues at Sanford when you pick your car up, really easy process when you check the car back in. My only little disapointment was that there was only one Tahoe to choose from at the airport and it had a few miles on the clock, i have had other cars that are like brand new in the past. Only a little gripe and the Tahoe is fantastic to drive.

We arrived at Tampa late evening and went straight to the garage (having previously registered for Alamo Save Time). Our car type was unavailable and we immediately received an upgrade to a brand new 8 seater SUV with 8 miles on the clock. The Alamo rep was extremely helpful, the paperwork was completed at the exit and we were out of there within 10 minutes!

No problems with the car during our holiday. Dropping off at Los Angeles was even better, no delays at all. Overall, very pleased with the service.
