Generally good but would avoid the self service pick up option.After entering driver details for 4 people on line prior to our trip we used the self service kiosk on arrival. Here we had to enter all the details again only to be told at the end of the process to go to one of the manned desks to complete the transaction. Wasted 20-30 mins.

The car we hired was of a very high standard. Extremely clean and comfortable for our stay in America. We were slightly pressured into hiring a larger vehicle, which would have cost more, as we were told our luggage would not fit but once we insisted our luggage would fit, we were able to drive off and enjoy our experience. If we were to hire a car again in the USA, we would use this company and this type of car.

Mostly a good experience. We had home prepared for us on arrival to use the automatic check-in in the so-called "kiosk", but it soon turned out that it did not work. We wasted therefore 20 min. in front of a vending machine and used thereafter for an additional 30 min. in line. If you are a foreigner, you can probably not use "Kiosk" without problems and I recommend that you immediately queuing for manual operation. Check-in went quickly, since it was our turn. The car was ready on the parkinglot and we were off on 10 minutes. after check-in. Everything worked on the car and we experienced no problems. Remember to get a bigger car than you might have decided for, otherwise have in mind when you buy much in the United States. We were 5 people and I would subsequently have hired a Chevrolet Surbunban instead of our Dodge Durango as Dodge turned out too small for both luggage and engine power. Delivery of the car went quickly and smoothly. The company is definitely recommended.

Booking with Alamo was simple and straight forward. However when we tried to use the kiosks at the airport prior to collecting the car (which we were led to believe would be quicker) didn't work after inputing all our information. We then had to stand in a queue which we could have done initially. The staff on the Alamo counter, were, I have to stay not the friendliest and seemed disinterested in what they were doing.

Car rental was very efficient. McCarren car rental center and the transportation to this facility was very pleasant and fast. Only complaint is Alamo desk clerk trying to get us into renting a more expensive, luxury version in a rather annoying way.

Our experience of uscarhire was genuinely fantastic. Our car rental plans changed several times in the week before the beginning of the rental. The changes I requested were actioned and confirmation mails sent promptly. I cancelled one of the rentals completely and was refunded promptly ( bear in mind this was cancelled 4 days before the rental car was to be picked up) . I will certainly be using uscarhire again. It was interesting to watch other travellers being charged more by alamo for smaller cars than I paid for my fullsize SUV through uscarhire !

Car was quite new with less than 3,000 miles on the clock. Pick up and return was smooth and efficient. Please be aware that fuel full to empty will be added by Alamo and is expensive if you don't book direct with them. Also additional breakdown cover is also required which if you purchase from anyone but Alamo will mean you have to pay Alamo first before claiming from other company.

The car was almost new, shuttle from AirPort to alamo vers fast, and checkout without issue, it was à perfect experience.
