Also with Alamo the customer service was very good. I didn't need any special services during our stay. I'll definitely reserve our next rental car also from USCar Hire. Also the price was good compared to other agencies.

I always use my US bank debit card to pay for the fuel etc.....now the kiosks no longer accept these, so that is bad for me and other regulars who have a US bank account.

My only minor complaint was being subjected to 'hard-sell' tactics eg being encouraged to pay more for an upgrade which I didn't want and being offered additional items that I didn't require.

I phoned them up and they assured me that I was unable to do it unless I rented direct through Alamo.

The self check in did not work - failed for all International customers. Caused huge delay and aggravation. Car was dirty.

Alamo queue was huge to collect car and rep pushed us into pre-paying petrol to return empty saying it would cost lots most for us to fill it up. Dont let them! They charged just over $90 and it only cost us $60 to fill up ourselves. Really wanted a Tahoe but was not given that as a choice. Got a Buick 7 seater but it turned out to be a lovely comfortable car.

The car was exactly what I had hoped for and in excellent condition. The Alamo receptionist at Orlando Airport was a pleasure to be served by and was in good humour and very helpful. Overall an excellent car hire experience and I would recommend US Car Hire and Alamo to anyone.
