2014 Model with only 1,000 miles on it. Very pleased with the service and car overall. Only drawback this time, which is the only time it has happened, was the poor attitude of the Alamo woman on the desk. Once again I was extremely pleased with the service provided by US Car Hire.

At Alamo rental at Los Angeles Airport, we have to wait for the car because there is a lot of people and the car was not ready. It is a good car, very confortable, and OK for 5 adults with 5 luggages. A little problem with the pressure of tires and the oil engine motor warning, but it was not very serious, simply a warning.

Very good at your end. The staff at Chicago Alamo however were very pushy to encourage extra sales and reluctant to accept that I had already purchased the additional insurance to cover lost keys, punctures etc until I showed them details.

Could have been given information on the toll system such as is the vehicle registered for the prepay system. I booked an SUV with luggage space as we had 7 people. After turning a grand caravan down as was too small had to settle for a 7 seater with little luggage space for 2 cases and not 5 as was all that was available. This meant everywhere we went was a squeeze.

We made a reservation for a Chevrolet Tahoe or eq. At our arrival they told us that we were upgraded and gave us a Chevrolet traverse. After verification (three days later when we met a Tahoe on the road), the traverse is not equivalent to the Tahoe. We were abused :( but it was to late !!!! Alamo are liers!

Easy to use website, order and payment very smooth. The kiosk was awesome it took only 10 minutes to collect the car. But when collecting the car at Alamo's I could only choose between a very ugly Mitsubishi (looked like a cookie jar) and a Chevrolet Traverse. For me that wasn't really a choice, the downside was the Chevrolet Traverse could not hold 7 persons and 5 suitcases as I ordered for a fullsize SUV. Luckily we were with 5 persons and 5 suitcases and that was the absolute maximum for that car. So we are more than satisfied with Uscarhire but not so with Alamo.

Our experience with Uscarhire is good. We only had some problems with Alamo in Las Vegas . There were not enough fullsize SUV's they say. In the fullsize row they only had some standard SUV's there was one Tahoe but someone else already took it. Our luggage did not fit in the standard SUV, that's why we hired a fullsize suv. They said there was a Toyota Sequoia but we had to pay $ 15 per day extra for this car. It was late and we were tired, we stood there for more the an hour, we complained but they were very rough to us, with our 3 children we wanted to go to our hotel and sleep so adventually we took the car with the extra payment. Last year we rented a Fullsize SUV by Alamo in Denver and we allso get the Toyota Sequoia as a fullsize, didn't have to pay extra for this car because it is a full size SUV!!. I don't like the Alamo in Las Vegas, they put standard SUV's in the fullsize row and let you pay extra for the Full size you allready payed for. In my eyes that's cheating!!

We Got a 2013 Ford Explorer Limited instead of the expected Chevrolet Tahoe, after deception we discovered that this car was really amazing and with a much larger trunk compared to the Tahoe, perfect to store our luggages (4 large and 2 small). This car is comfortable, powerful and handy, sound system was superb too. During our journey, a piece of plastic went away on the highway but to the complimentary insurance, we had nothing to pay at the end ! I would recommend US Car Hire to anyone as the price was the cheapest I've found on the web with every options included !
