One useful piece of info for future renters of SUV's, none of the SUV's available had luggage covers to hide luggage in the boot, as we were on a road trip and would be leaving the car often with our luggage inside we had to change to a normal saloon car to keep our luggage hidden for security reasons, which wasn't a problem at the car hire centre.

However when a problem was reported with the sat nav unit. NOTHING!! Still awaiting a response from your company. I had to resolve the problem myself. No constructive help from Alamo staff at any of your rental locations. So for this I would give the rental experience a minus 5.

We actually had a mechanical issue, first time this has happened in many bookings, with the initial car we had but it was really easy to get replaced and we got a discount based on the type of car we got as a replacement which was fine with us. Will definitely use again.

My expected was an more strong unit like Cherokee not Chevrolet Equinox that was last one vehicle when I went to get it. It impossible to compare Cherokee vs Equinox. I am absolutely disappointed

We added a GPS system as the last minute which turned out to be a really good price. The new voucher was sent speedily. We took out the comprehensive insurance cover and were advised not to purchase anything extra in the USA. This was good advise as they tried hard to sell us additional cover or an upgrade. We chose to just take the car as booked however the company upgraded us anyway! All in all a great experience and a company we wold recommend to others and use ourselves in the future.

Great car but not the size which was promissed at the booking. Service and the transparancy during the booking proces are great!
