Everything was efficient and the car was perfect fot us. My only criticism is a small one - that I collected the car with a full tank - which I find out later wasn't quite full- on driving away although the needle stated the tank was full - the miles to refuelling was actually less than the read when I returned the car which I had filled up some 15 miles from the airport. I was charged an additional $11 - at a price per gallon of $4.50 when the cost was at leat a $1 less any where in Florida...a small point but ...

In all honesty I feel i was completely mislead on the vehicle i would be hiring. I ordered a Standard SUV and ended up with a small cheap Nissan Xterra. On your site a standard SUV is listed as a Jeep Grand Cherokee or similar, once you get to the Alamo site this is listed as a Hyundai Santa Fe or similar not ideal but at least I know. When I finally get to the desk as the kiosks don't work I'm told there isn't a standard SUV option with Alamo only SUV or full size SUV. So basically if i had ordered the cheaper Intermediate SUV I would have still got a Nissan Xterra. I have used your company a few times in the past but I now feel very disappointed in the level of service I have received

Although I did register with Alamo for kiosk pickup, at the airport I had to go the counter and make a line as the kosik registration system did not recognize my booking

This is the 2nd time we have used this company and have found them extremely competitive, prompt service when picking up & returning car and car was in excellent conditon and with only 1200 miles on the clock. Would highly recommend using them.

To Whom it may conearn, thank you for getting in touch regarding our trip and the car, unfortunately we did have an issue with the car we received. We asked for a Standard SUV with Alamo, which we were told was a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Similar, however upon arrival at the Rental Car centre we were given an intermediate SUV which was a Hyundai Tucson. A class below what we have paid for, this was not explained to us at all. The car park attendant went to get the car, he took just under 10 minutes to return to us, left the keys in the car and walked away. We were not told this car was below the class we had booked. At the time we were unaware of this and carried on our way to the hotel. Upon our return to the airport and checking the car back in with you after almost 3 weeks the attendant scanned the car back in on his handset and printed us a reciept. We questioned the car size with him their and this is when he told us it was an Intermediate SUV not a Standard SUV that we had booked. We were directed to the Customer Relations desk by the attendant and upon speaking to the people there we were told that because we booked the car through a intermediate company they were not liable for refunding us the money that we had paid extra for a Standard SUV. Currently the situation is we have paid to use a Standard SUV but ended up with an Intermidiate SUV instead. The car we had was very reliable and we did not have any problems with it at all, but travelling with 4 people and 4 suitcases plus hand luggage as well made for a very cramped 3 weeks of driving unfortunately. Is there any way you could advise us upon receiving a refund for the difference in car classes, I look forward to hearing from you soon. Many Thanks, Jonathan James

The whole service was straightforward, good value and with no hassel. The only downside was the car we were given, whilst being roomy the engine was poor and struggled to cope with some of the hills we drove up.

Highly recommended. Picking up an Alamo hire from Orlando airport could not be easier with these guys. Take the voucher to the Alamo desk in airport Arrivals, get the Satnav, and avoid conversation about an upgrade. Within 5 minutes, we were choosing and loading our car. Check the car. You then drive to the exit where a steward checks your receipt. It's at this point you can highlight any damage /concerns. They note your paper and off you go. Returning the car was just as easy. We were 45 minutes late - they didn't bat an eyelid, and there was no excess hire charge. Quite simply - US Car Hire - there is no one else we would use for Orlando.
