Outlet Shopping Pt 2 - Orlando / Florida Guide
Florida Guide > Shopping
If you have visited Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores and haven’t yet had your fill of outlet shopping, turn right out of the exit and travel two or three miles until you reach Little Lake Bryan on the right hand side of the road, (alternatively travel east along Interstate 4 from the Walt Disney World area and take exit 68, go straight across the junction at the bottom of the ramp) turn right in to Little Lake Bryan and travel down the north end of International Drive until you reach Premium Outlets on the right.
This is a much larger mall and has recently been extended to offer the visitor even more choice. There is surface car parking available both at the front and the rear of the mall but be aware that with the need to accommodate hundreds of vehicles parking spaces are much smaller than those you would usually expect to find in US parking lots. If the surface car parks are full you may be directed to the multi storey car park which is also a good choice if you prefer to leave your vehicle in the shade.
If you are looking to visit GAP then this store is situated on it’s own in the surface car park close to the entrance.
The recent extension to the mall has made it less easy to visit all the stores without back tracking, so make sure you pick up a mall directory so you don’t miss your favourite stores.
This mall is partly undercover making it possible to dodge the showers on a rainy day, although it still has a very much open air feel. You will find all the big names here; Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren (and Ralph Lauren designer store as well) Nike, Reebok, Timberland and Calvin Klein. In addition you will find stores not found in the other outlets; Crocs, Aerosoles and Togs spring to mind.
There is a large and very bust food court offering selections such as pizza and pasta, Asian dishes, subs and sandwiches and, of course, everyone’s favourite, Starbucks! There are a couple of other snack outlets situated in the mall itself, Annie’s Pretzels, Old Town Ice Cream and The Fudgery where you can sample the goods before you buy!
For the little ones there is a spacious and exciting playground in the extended area of the mall with seating for grown ups to sit and enjoy a drink or an ice cream whilst keeping an eye on their offspring.
Restrooms, ATM’s and public phone boxes are situated at various locations throughout the mall and are clearly marked on the mall directory.
If fast food isn’t your bag and you have had a hard days shopping, you may choose to stop and eat before heading home. In the immediate locality The Outback, Carrabas and Bahama Breeze are all favourites of ours and we would recommend calling ahead to any of these as you are coming to the end of your shopping, this way you can prevent a long hungry wait.
The mall is open Mon – Sat 10am – 11pm and Sun 10am – 9pm.
