Premium Outlets at Lake Buena Vista - Orlando / Florida Guide

Florida Guide > Shopping

If you like a bargain you can do very well at the Premium Outlets, in Lake Buena Vista. This is very near the main entrance to Walt Disney World. The address is Vineland Avenue and it is a designer factory outlet which has all the designer goods at greatly reduced prices.

All the big names have stores there, Burberry, Max Mara, Coach, Ralph Lauren, Fendi , Armani and Hugo Boss to mention just a few. Most are around fifty per cent less than in their normal shops and the best time to shop there is in November when the big sales are on and you can often get seventy five per cent off.

It is in the open air, unlike the Florida Mall or the Mall at Millenia, but you can walk under cover most of the time if it rains. I particularly love the Gap, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein stores for clothes and Adidas, Reebok and Nike for trainers. There are so many shoes shops I lose track of them: Aerosoles, Bass, Nine West and Guess are some of them.

There is nothing like rummaging around in Polo Ralph Lauren for a bargain everyone else has missed or trying to get your favourite bag at Burberrys for a fraction of the price you would have to pay back in England or any where else in Europe.

Underwear and swimwear shops are amazing and the baby clothes stores are a tremendous saving for your tots and toddlers. I particularly like Carters, 2b Bebe, Ralph Lauren and Baby Gap. There is even a childrens shoe shop.

Luggage and handbag shops are a speciality here, Samsonite, Coach, Kenneth Cole and Wilsons Leather Outlet. Jewellers are a good deal too for watches and diamonds and there are plenty of sunglasses shops as well. Make-up and beauty shops are a favourite of mine and so are the perfume outlets.

In the centre of the complex there is a food hall. Although not very big, it has the usual essentials, burgers, chicken, pizzas and salads. There is also a Starbucks if you just want a coffee break and a wonderful juice bar for smoothies of all kinds.

On your way round you will find, sweet shops, Auntie Annes hot Pretzels and a couple of ice cream shops, all great for keeping you going until dinner.

This outlet is similar to the International Drive Premium Outlet only smaller and far easier to shop round without having to keep driving to each section. There is ample parking both outside and in an indoor multi story car park.
