Where to Shop in Florida Part 2 - Orlando / Florida Guide
Florida Guide > Shopping
If you like Factory Outlet Shopping Lake Buena Vista shops are quite compact to shop at and conveniently located on South Apopka Vineland Road and open Monday to Saturday 10. 00am to 9. 00pm and Sunday 10. 00am to 7. 00pm. It always amazed me that shops in Florida are allowed to open for more than the 6 hours allowed on Sundays in the UK.
Last time we went to Buena Vista you could collect a discount voucher booklet from Swimart. There is a great variety of shops here including Osh–Kosh, Reebok, Liz Claiborne, Old Navy and Carters for Kids. I also think the Disney store here has some of the best bargains. Last year we were looking for Ed Hardy T Shirts for one of the girls and although we found them in one of the shops here we eventually found they were cheaper at TJ Maxx.
Premium Outlets on the I4 is a great favourite with visitors. Normal shopping hours are usually 10. 00am to 10. 00pm Monday to Saturdays and 10. 00am to 9. 00pm on Sundays. It can be quite nice shopping here in the evening at the end of a hot day as it is quite shaded. By going on line before you travel you can become a member of their VIP club. This will allow you to print a voucher which you take to their Information Centre in the Food Court and they give a book of discount vouchers to spend. You may also whilst on line print out discount vouchers for specific stores.
We find the Ralph Lauren voucher very useful as my Father gets all his shirts and jackets here you can make quite a saving. Nike and Reebok are also good value remember that the Nike store often asks for additional ID if you use a credit card.
There is a great kitchen shop with loads of gadgets my parents spend a long time in her. They also do many varieties of dips with little biscuits to try them on you can feel quite full when you come out!
Disney and Universal also have shops here in fact I don’t think my Mother has ever come out of the Disney shop without buying something.
Addidas and Timberland as well as Tommy Hillfigger also have good bargains.
There is Food Court and Restrooms in the centre of the complex this is a good place to rest and have a drink before continuing with your shopping.
Near the entrance to Premium Outlets the restaurants Bahama Breeze, Golden Coral and Carrabas are located. They can get very busy but are great places to have an evening meal.
If we cannot find what we want at Premium Outlets we go to the recently built Prime Outlets more of this in Part 3.
