If you are planning an overnight side to trip to Hollywood Beach then you will be looking for nice things to do during your stay.
There are many ways to get around the area in Hollywood, trolley, water bus and by foot to name a few. However, to really see a lot in a short time, I would like to recommend a bike tour.
If you choose to go with Kewe Bicycle Tours they will offer a choice of 3 tours to suit anyone.
The City of the Arts tour includes art galleries, The Holocaust Memorial Museum and The Arts Park at Youngs Circle.
Arts Park has work by Ritsuko Taho. He is a Japanese artist known for his sculptures and cutting edge art technology. This is a 2 hour tour that costs $45.
The next tour has a mouthfull of a title that is more or less self explanatory. Here we go: The Historic Architecture, Notorious Mob Bosses and Movie Location tour (phew! )
This tour focuses on the beautiful Hollywood Lakes made famous for the filming of Marley and Me. This tour lasts for two and a half hours and costs the same as the previous tour.
I knew that the next tour was not for me as soon as I saw it described as hardcore. This experience covers 27 miles that encompasses culture, arts, history and natural areas. They even fit in a cooling swim. This tour lasts 4 hours and costs $65.
Anyone that knows me would know that the final tour would be my choice. It is called Eco Mangroves and here you visit the historic Dania Pier and the Anne Kolb Nature Conservatory. This is a two and a half hour pedal where you see natural Florida at its best.
Intracoastal water ways, 1600 acres of natural Florida flora and fauna and a couple of towers to climb for spectacular views.
This tour costs $45 and usually runs from 10 a. m. to 12. 30 (before it gets too hot. There is a longer version that tacks on 7 miles of John Lloyd State Park. This will only cost you another $10.

And do not forget to pack water, sunscreen and swimsuit (whre applicable)
