All vehicles have air-conditioning, power steering and automatic transmission.

When you order the car you can not specify a make, model or colour, but when you get to the rental desk you can make a request which they will endeavor to accommodate provided they have the vehicle in stock.

Alamo have their 'Choice Locations' product. This is available at most airports and there is no extra cost. These locations allow you to choose the car you like best from the parking lot, within the category you have booked. Each car has the key in, so you just get in and go.

Outside Florida, any vehicle above the Full Size class is only available on request. Once your booking has been made, we have to wait for the rental company to confirm availability before your voucher can be issued. We cannot guarantee availability of these vehicles without a minimum of 48 hours notice. At busy periods in Florida e.g. Christmas and Easter, certain of the larger vehicles are only available on request in Florida due to limited availability.

Yes, you can upgrade or change to a different car type on collection (subject to availability), but we strongly advise against this. Doing thing will almost certainly result in a fairly costly local charge by the car rental company even if the car you change to is cheaper had you booked through ourselves initially.

As car models can vary, as can the amount of luggage a typical family will have, it is not possible for us to guarantee your luggage will fit in to any specific vehicle.

If you want to read accounts of how other regular customers have managed with their luggage, and the cars they have typically been allocated, then please visit our car hire forum. Feel free to ask questions so you can hear first hand accounts and advice from others.

Some of the SUVs have 4WD but many are 2WD. It is not possible to guarantee that the car will have 4WD so any requests for this can not be made. When you collect your car you can make your request to the staff member at the desk so they know your preference when allocating your car. Note, if the staff member on the desk offers you a larger car category that has 4WD then any extra charges for this are outside of our control.
