How much does it cost to hire a baby / booster child seat?

The daily rate for a child seat (booster or full baby seat) is approx $7 - $10 per day. This is payable on collection of the car. You will be expected the fit the seat yourself.

Can we take a child car seat to avoid paying extra to hire one?

Yes, airlines are happy to take you own car seat(s) on the plane (in the cargo hold). Not only will this save you money but your child will feel more at home in their own car seat.

What are the requirements regarding child seats?

Florida law states that children 5 and under have to be in an approved safety seat / booster seat. 

Are child / booster seats available from all Suppliers?

All our suppliers except U-Save are able to provide baby / booster seats. Note, there is an additional local fee for child seat rental.

Can we request a car with Integrated Child Seats?

Some vehicles (particularly 7 seaters from Dollar) occasionally come with built-in child seats. These cars can not be requested in advance.

If on arrival you request such a vehicle, and one is made available, then the rental company have the option to charge you the equivalent fee as though you are renting 1 or 2 child seats from them.
